If you want a tech job in India, start on the company’s own careers page. Naukri and LinkedIn are useful for finding company names. The application that actually reaches a recruiter usually lives on the official portal.
This page is a bookmark list grouped the way people search: IT services, Indian product and SaaS, startups, global capability centres (GCCs), and US tech with India engineering teams. Open the link, filter for your city or “India,” and apply there.

Quick answer: Use job boards to discover companies, then apply on the official careers page. Good places to start: TCS, Infosys, Zoho, Freshworks, Razorpay, PhonePe, Amazon India and Google. Freshers should open the campus or entry-level track first, not the general experienced search. if you want more company career pages, listing and regular update in future make sure you bookmark this article.
Where should I apply for tech jobs in India besides Naukri?#
Apply on the official careers page of the company you want, not only on a job board. Boards repost the same role, often drop the salary, and sometimes keep a listing live after the position is closed. Use boards to find company names, then apply on the company’s own portal.
For services firms that hire in bulk, the careers site is also where off-campus drives and lateral forms sit. For product teams, the company site is often the only place the role is guaranteed to be current.
Which IT services companies have official career pages in India?#
TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and LTIMindtree each run their own careers portal, usually with separate fresher and experienced tracks. Volume is high, and much of the work is client delivery rather than a product you own.
| Company | Official careers page | What to open first |
|---|---|---|
| TCS | tcs.com/careers/india | India hub, then entry-level or lateral |
| Infosys | infosys.com/careers | Careers home, then your experience band |
| HCLTech | hcltech.com/careers | Job search filtered to India |
| Wipro | careers.wipro.com | Location = India |
| Tech Mahindra | careers.techmahindra.com | India listings |
| LTIMindtree | ltimindtree.com/careers | Confirm you are on ltimindtree.com before uploading a resume |
| Accenture | accenture.com/in-en/careers | India job search |
| Cognizant | careers.cognizant.com | Location = India |
| Capgemini | capgemini.com/in-en/careers | India site, then job search |
| Persistent Systems | persistent.com/careers | India openings |
TCS careers India is the one freshers hit most often, and it splits campus and experienced hiring into different doors. Don’t submit a five-year resume through a fresher form.
Which product and SaaS companies are hiring engineers in India?#
Zoho, Freshworks, Postman, BrowserStack and Chargebee are SaaS and product companies that list engineering roles in India on their own sites. You work on the company’s own software. Hiring tends to be slower than at a services major, and interviews are often more technical.
| Company | Official careers page | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho | zoho.com/careers | Chennai-rooted SaaS suite. Large early-career intake. |
| Freshworks | freshworks.com/company/careers | Support, ITSM and CRM SaaS. |
| Postman | postman.com/company/careers | API platform founded in Bengaluru. |
| BrowserStack | browserstack.com/careers | Dev-tool SaaS. |
| Chargebee | chargebee.com/company/careers | Subscription billing. |
Product based company careers India searches usually mean this list. Stick to firms that sell software on a subscription and list India on the job. If the only India roles are sales, know that before you spend a weekend on the take-home.
Which Indian startups hire on their own career portal?#
PhonePe, Razorpay, Flipkart, CRED, Swiggy, Meesho, Zomato, Groww, Zerodha and Juspay all hire engineers through their own careers pages. Compensation can beat services, but the team you join matters more than the logo, because startup orgs reorganise often.
| Company | Official careers page | Typical India hubs |
|---|---|---|
| PhonePe | phonepe.com/careers | Bengaluru |
| Razorpay | razorpay.com/careers | Bengaluru, and other offices as listed |
| Flipkart | flipkartcareers.com | Bengaluru |
| Swiggy | careers.swiggy.com | Bengaluru |
| CRED | careers.cred.club | Bengaluru |
| Meesho | meesho.io/jobs | Bengaluru |
| Zomato | zomato.com/careers | Gurugram |
| Groww | groww.in/careers | Bengaluru |
| Zerodha | zerodha.com/careers | Bengaluru |
| Juspay | juspay.in/careers | Bengaluru |
PhonePe careers and Razorpay careers are the two fintech doors engineers ask for by name. Open those before you scroll a generic fintech jobs board.
Which US tech companies hire in India through their own careers site?#
Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Adobe, Atlassian, Salesforce, Oracle, IBM and Nvidia all hire in India through a global portal with a location filter, not a separate Indian site. Set the country to India or pick Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai or NCR. If a listing says United States only, you are in the wrong filter.
| Company | Official careers page | India filter |
|---|---|---|
| careers.google.com | Location: India | |
| Microsoft | careers.microsoft.com | Country: India |
| Amazon | amazon.jobs India | Already scoped to India |
| Meta | metacareers.com | Location: India |
| Adobe | adobe.com/careers | India offices |
| Atlassian | atlassian.com/company/careers | Bengaluru is the main India site |
| Salesforce | careers.salesforce.com | Location: India |
| Oracle | oracle.com/in/corporate/careers | India |
| IBM | ibm.com/careers | Country: India |
| Nvidia | nvidia.com/en-in/about-nvidia/careers | India locations |
These interview loops are competitive. A referral still helps, but the application has to land on the portal either way.
Which global capability centres (GCCs) hire tech talent in India?#
A GCC (global capability centre) is an India-based engineering or operations centre that a global company runs for its own business, rather than as a client-services vendor. GCC roles are posted on the parent company’s careers site, so filter by an Indian city.
| Company | Official careers page | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Goldman Sachs | goldmansachs.com/careers | Technology and engineering roles, filter by India location |
| JPMorgan Chase | jpmorganchase.com/careers | Technology roles, filter by India location |
For other GCCs, search the parent company’s name plus “careers India” and open the result on the company’s own domain.
Should freshers and experienced engineers use the same portal?#
No. It is the same company but a different door.
Freshers should look for campus, off-campus, internship or “entry level” tracks on TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Zoho and Freshworks. A generic experienced search can hide those forms.
Experienced engineers should filter by years and stack on the same official career pages, then work through the product, startup, GCC and US lists. Lateral roles at services firms move through both the portal and recruiters. At product companies, the portal is usually the first place a role appears.
If you have under a year of experience, don’t burn attempts on Staff or SDE II reqs at Google or Microsoft. Read the level before you apply.
How do I tell a real careers page from a fake one?#
Check that the page sits on the company’s own domain, that applying is free, and that any recruiter email comes from the company’s domain. Genuine employers do not charge fees for applications, interviews, training or offer letters.
Be careful with job links that arrive over WhatsApp or Telegram and ask for money or personal documents up front. When in doubt, go to the company’s main website and open the Careers link from there.
How do you keep this list from going stale?#
Check three things before you apply.
- The domain matches the company:
careers.brand.comor a path on the real site, not a lookalike. - The role shows a posted or updated date within the last 30 to 45 days.
- The location is an Indian city or “India,” not a US-only req.
This list is a directory, not a live job feed, and it is rechecked monthly. Reqs open and close every week. The portal URL is what stays useful. When a link 404s, search
"[company] careers"and take the first result on the company’s own domain.
Frequently asked questions#
Is it better to apply on the company website or on Naukri?#
The company website is the source of record. Use Naukri or LinkedIn to find companies and roles, then apply on the official portal so your application reaches the hiring team directly.
Do I need a referral to get a tech job in India?#
A referral helps, especially at competitive product companies, but it is not required. Apply on the official portal either way so your application is on file.
Where do freshers apply for tech jobs in India?#
Freshers should open the campus, off-campus or entry-level track on the company’s careers page, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Zoho and Freshworks. Avoid applying through the experienced search, which can mismatch your profile.
Can freshers apply to Google or Microsoft from the careers site?#
Yes, if the role is entry level. Read the level and years of experience on each listing first, because many India roles target experienced engineers.
How often should I check career pages?#
Check weekly for the five or six companies you most want to join, and set up job alerts on their portals if they offer them.
What this list will not do#
It will not rank workplaces, quote salaries, or tell you who is “hiring actively” this morning. Anyone who prints a headcount of open roles without giving the date and source is guessing.
Use it to stop hopping across 40 career sites you can’t remember. Pick five companies that match how you want to work, bookmark their portals, and apply where the req matches your level.
